Coloring activities are employed inside the classroom because of their educational benefits, one of which is developing focus. Most of the children are having difficulties concentrating especially when there are too many distractions around. Nevertheless, concentration may be developed through asking the student to complete coloring pages to the best of their abilities. What the teacher should do is to give them a coloring page with a circle in it and then ask them to color the circle with a specified time of completion. While this process requires less cognitive processes compared to copying and writing, the students may and will exert a lot of effort in staying within the lines even when there are some other things that are going around them. Through this, the students may slowly develop concentration which they will definitely need in the latter part of education.
